The Galleries
“Originally a wooden framed Tudor Building, Buckenham Galleries has the impressive façade of a Georgian Town House. Situated in a prime location on Southwold High Street, the building houses 5 galleries spread over 3 floors and a coffee house in the cellar.
The galleries, all named after previous owners of the building, have white painted walls, black floors, and are well lit by halogen lights, but also have the benefit of very good natural light. Buckenham Galleries holds 8 major exhibitions a year for specially selected artists, alongside on-going exhibitions of work by gallery artists. With a wealth of different styles on offer, there is always something new to see.
We welcome submissions of work by new artists via e-mail, images on disk, or photographs. Over the years, Buckenham Galleries has built up a first-class reputation with artists and collectors alike. Offering a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, the gallery is open seven days a week, including bank holidays.”
