Many people have collected sets of Kate's studies of the'Seven Deadly Sins' Kate is a self-taught sculptor who originally trained in the Performing Arts, (Middlesex University 1978 - 1981 ), where she majored In mlme. After graduating and working for 3 years in fringe theatre the focus began to shift from the fluid images of mime to a more condensed form of mask work. From there it was a short step into sculpture.

In 1984 she established a studio in Bristol, whilst also working as a part-time apprentice at a bronze foundry. She began to receive private commissions and represented Great Britain at International competition level. In 1991 she moved her studio from the UK to the Greek island of Rhodes, where she was based for 8 years. Inspired by the people of Greece and by her readings into classical mythology she produced a series of sculptures between 1991-1999, a selection of which are currently being sold in limited edition.

In 1999 she returned to the UK. Although she retains her contact with Greece and will continue to take working trips to her studio in Rhodes, she now lives and works in the West Country.
