Nicholas Simington was born in Antwerp and studied at the Glasgow School of Art. His haunting compositions compel the observer to try and discover the story that is being revealed on the canvas. Each slowly crafted piece is beautifully painted so that you want to stand before it for a long time just absorbing the atmosphere that is being created.
