Born in Suffolk, Chrissy knows its landscape well and finds it a great inspiration for her work.

She spent several years as a knitwear designer before becoming an artist painting mainly in watercolour. Then she discovered etching and this has now taken over as her favourite medium allowing her to express her love of drawing and tonal studies. Subject matter is usually based around her passion for trees and the rugged beauty of the Suffolk coastline. Always looking for design in nature she often explores the same subject matter in great depth and from different perspectives.

Chrissy has studied printmaking at Central St.Martins & Suffolk College. She is also a member of 12PM and belongs to the printmaking groups at Sudbourne Park and Gainsborough's House, Sudbury.

Her etchings are gradually gaining a reputation and some of her work has been accepted for the Palace of Westminster Collection. She also exhibits throughout East Anglia and sells through local galleries. Chrissy continues to live in Suffolk where she works from her studio and print workshop.
