Jane has always been a Painter and having lived in the Far East for a while,it gave her a wide variety of artistic influences. In 1989 she attended various Ceramic courses before eventually setting up her own workshop at home in Cambridge in 1990.
She likes to keep her Pots simple, making mostly Slab work, using Velvet underglazes with a White or Cream finish Glaze, Painted freehand, so each image is always unique. The same applies to her Paintings, images, colours and impressions that she has absorbed over time from visual encounters, which she has experienced over the years as an artist.
Jane is a Selected Member with the East Anglian Potters Association and has exhibited widely in England and has Pots and Paintings in Private Collections Worldwide.
